One of the most common diet program that you see often on TV and the newspapers is the 10 day lemonade diet or also known as the master cleanse diet. It only lasts for ten days and by that time you have already lost an ample amount of weight. It also can get rid of unwanted colon parasites and other harmful bacteria in your intestines and stomach.
Just like its name, it only last for ten days. But take precaution as some people think that this is going to be easy since it only lasts for ten days. But they need to prepare first, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. Not only will hunger pangs be experienced but also other types of symptoms such as irritability, mood swings and other types of emotional bondage.
The first rule in getting through this diet is that to get past the third day of the fast. Just focus on the three-day part of the diet first rather than on the whole ten days so that it would be easier on you. When the 10 day lemonade diet has been broken down into parts, taking it easy one day at a time will be a great big help.
The second rule in getting through the diet is on how to deal with the most common type of symptoms of this 10 day lemonade diet such as headaches and soreness of the body. To lower the risk of these “illnesses”, it is best to take in lots of water along with this diet. And just try to remember that don’t put too much weight on you when under this diet.
Also, because you are consuming very little calories during this 10 day period, exercise should be kept to a minimum. You should do only light exercises and remember to take in water frequently to replace the fluids and minerals lost.
